Answers to Frequently Asked Questions

Am I required to register with the office upon arrival?

If you pre-registered by completing and digitally signing the registration documentation via RSign that you received in your email a couple days prior to your arrival date or by either clicking on the 'Late Check In Registration' tab in the menu of the website or by clicking on the 'Registration' button on the bottom of the 'Policies' page, you are not required to register at the office. If you have not pre-registered digitally, please stop by the office to register.


How do I pre-register?

We send out the registration documentation via RSign to your email a couple of days prior to your arrival date. Once completed and signed digitally, you are then pre-registered and can go directly to your site without stopping by the office. If you are booking last minute, please use the 'Late Check In Registration' tab in the menu on the website. If you are unable to complete the registration, you may stop by the office to complete the registration.


Do you accommodate late check-in?

The office is close, can I book a site for tonight?

Yes. Book a site through the booking engine on the website. Then click on the 'Late Check In Registration" tab in the menu on our website to complete the registration documentation. Once completed, proceed to your camp site. If you are unable to complete the registration, you may stop by the office the next morning to complete the registration.


Do you have Wi-Fi?

Yes, we offer Wi-Fi. It is included with your reservation.


Do you have cable TV?

No, we do not offer cable TV. However, we do offer Wi-Fi for you to use with streaming devices.


Do you allow dogs?

We do allow dogs with the exception of breeds on our Breed Restrictions list given to us from our insurance company. Our Breed Restrictions include, and is not limited to, Akita, Alaskan Malamute, Alsatian Shepard, American Bulldog, Bull Terrier, Chow-Chow, Doberman Pinscher, German Shepard, Mastiff/Bullmastiff, Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Staffordshire Terrier (type of Pit Bull), Wolf Dog, any dog with aggressive tendencies, or any mix of the above.


Do you have direct access to the ATV trails?

No, we do not have direct access to the ATV trails. The ATV trails are about an 18 minute drive from the campground.


What are your nightly rates?

Nightly rates are affected by a few different factors so if we could get a few more specifics such as the arrival and departure dates, what type of site, and how many adults, children, and pets, we can give you a quote.


Do you offer any discounts?

We offer a 10% discount to Military/First Responders. We also offer a 12% discount for 7 to 27 nights stays and a 25% discount for stays of 28 nights or more.


When is the campground open?

The campground is open seasonally from May 15th to October 15th.


What are your office hours during season?


Monday - Thursday, office hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Friday, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. Saturday, 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. Sunday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Hours are subject to change, they will be updated here and on Google.


What are your off season office hours?

Off season hours are not consistent and the phone is off much of the time. Contacting us by emailing info@jeffersoncampground.com is best. We will answer any questions and concerns through email.


Do you have any 2023 Seasonal Sites available?

We are currently full for the 2023 season. If you are interested in getting onto our waiting list, please contact us by texting 603-586-4510 or by emailing info@jeffersoncampground.com.


What are your 2023 Seasonal Rates?

Our 2022 seasonal rates are $2,245 to $2,445 plus electric.


Do you have any 2024 Seasonal sites available?

We will know what 2024 seasonal sites will be available on October 1, 2023.


What are your 2024 Seasonal Rates?

We will be able to give you the 2024 seasonal rates on Oct 1, 2023.


How far are you from Santa's Village?


Santa's Village is 4.8 miles or about a 5-minute drive from the campground.


Do you have direct access to the ATV trails?

No, we do not have direct access to the ATV trails. The ATV trails are about an 18-minute drive from the campground.


How far are you from the trailheads?

There are several within a 15-minute drive of the campground. The Appalachia Trailhead is 8 miles or a 10-minute drive from the campground.


How far are you from the Cog Railway?

The Cog Railway is 23.1 miles or a 30-minute drive from the campground.


Is there rafting nearby?

Northwoods Rafting is 25.7 miles or a 37-minute drive from the campground.


What grocery stores are nearby?

The Old Corner Store is a convenience store with a deli in Jefferson is 3.6 miles or about a 4-minute drive from the campground. Shaw's grocery store in Lancaster is 11.2 miles or a 17-minute drive from the campground. There's a Walmart Supercenter in Gorham that's 15.5 miles or 21-minutes from the campground.


What is the closest urgent care or hospital?

The Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster is 10.6 miles or a 16-minute drive from the campground. The Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin is 20.8 miles or a 30-minute drive from the campground. The Littleton Regional Hospital is 26.1 miles or a 38-minute drive from the campground. ConvenientMD Urgent Care in Littleton is 27.3 miles or a 35-minute drive from the campground. The Littleton Urgent Care is 26.1 miles or a 38-minute drive from the campground.
